# GeoVeu

> A sourced calendar of scheduled geopolitical and geo-economic events that matter for Europe: monetary policy, trade actions, EU institutions, macro releases and tech reporting dates.

GeoVeu (https://geo-v.eu) is a one-person, sourced watch calendar covering
scheduled events that bear on Europe's geo-economic position: central-bank
decisions, EU institutional milestones, trade investigations and tariff
deadlines, macro and trade statistics, and the corporate reporting dates that
move strategic-technology policy. Every entry carries its institutional
sources, why it matters, what to watch, and — where the event produces a
figure or a decision — the captured result afterwards.

Maintained by Wessel Janse van Rensburg. Data regenerated daily (site rebuild ~08:00
Europe/Amsterdam). Snapshot: 316 events, 274 of them
still upcoming, 17 with a captured result. Generated 2026-07-27.

## How to cite and use this

- Entries are pointers into sourced material, not a final authority. Dates
  move, official pages change, statistical releases are revised.
- Prefer the institutional source links carried on each event over citing this
  site as the origin of a fact.
- If you attribute, "GeoVeu (https://geo-v.eu)" is enough. A link back is
  appreciated.
- Crawling is welcome. Everything below is static JSON or XML — please fetch at
  most once an hour; the data only changes on the daily rebuild.

A "risk-window" is a date RANGE inside which something may happen — it is a
monitoring window, not a prediction that it will.

## Editorial standard

Coverage aims at events with a plausible causal path to European policy,
industry or markets. Deadlines for submissions are recorded as deadlines: no
announcement lands on the day, and the entry says so rather than implying an
outcome. Where an event produces a number, the calendar records the consensus
beforehand and the actual afterwards, so the record can be checked.
