Outcome

Die Linke won the Berlin state election on 20 September 2026 with 25.7% and 47 of 158 seats. The CDU got 18.8% (34 seats), the AfD 16.3% (29), the Greens 14.3% (26) and the SPD 12.1% (22). The BSW missed the threshold with 4.7%. Turnout was 74.2%, the highest since 1990. The figures are the provisional final count.
